Don’t believe anyone who tells you that you can’t study – including yourself. It’s not true.
If you are reading this you have been a successful student. It’s that simple.
My journey to great study
I was born with terrible eyesight so I was never able to see the blackboard in the 1950’s and 60’s.
We were very poor, my parents never read with me or had any interest in my education. We had three books in the house, none of which were suitable for children.
I failed the exam to go to the grammar school and did not have any education between 11 and 15 years old. The expectations of me were very low indeed.
However, I had one single teach when I was 10 who taught me how to learn. I got into college when I was 15, went onto university, earned two degrees, post graduate qualifications, a doctorate, qualified in 11 professions, ran multi-million dollar businesses.
Oh and I became a best-selling author.
Most schools and universities give poor educations
You are basically on your own when you want to learn something. You need to be completely 100% dedicated to learning that knowledge and skills.
Your brain is phenomenal and can compute thousands of things at the same time consciously and unconsciously. It is your friend when you learn how to work it.
There is a difference between learning and passing exams. Learning is truly understanding a subject. Passing exams is telling the examiner what they want to hear.
If you are 100% dedicated to a subject, you learn both.
Fall in love with what you are learning
It’s a habit I developed when I was 10. My teacher taught me to do that and it has never failed me.
I don’t waste my time dedicating myself to subjects I have no interest in or that are badly taught. I completed subjects I had to so I fell in love the material the examiner wanted to hear. For those subjects I became a parrot.
The subjects I was fascinated by I learnt far beyond what was required of me as they became my interests.
You will have good teachers and poor teachers, but learning is up to you.
I teach you basic and advanced learning techniques in hypnosis.
It is as much how you learn as well as what you learn. Sure, people do learn differently but there are still basic fundamental systems for learning that you can learn.
We also spend time on your study priorities. Do you juggle? Are you organised?
You are rehearsed in hypnotic techniques to help you learn.
Why hypnotherapy helps you study?
Your conscious mind is very small and usually only remembers for about 20 seconds. Your unconscious mind is enormous and remembers millions of bits of information.
The conscious mind is a portal to the unconscious mind but the unconscious mind is where you store all your knowledge.
Learning hypnotically gives greater scope to deliver knowledge permanently into the unconscious mind.
Hypnotherapy helps you learn more comfortable, faster and efficiently and also allows you to remember that knowledge more easily.
