Families too fail to take procrastinators seriously. You begin to be seen as unreliable, odd, and not properly contributing to the family’s wellbeing and cohesion. Those people may love you because you are their family but ultimately they may get bored with continually looking after someone who appears to refuse to look after themselves.
All forms of procrastination are a form of mild or deep depression.
Procrastination is the inability to adapt to your environment and deal with the realities of life. A mentally healthy person can weigh up the odds of a situation and make a competent decision they can live with in the short and long term.
