Hypnotherapy for alcoholism, alcohol abuse and to quit drinking is highly effective.
I’ve spent my entire life and career since 1970 around alcohol abuse and addiction.
My stop drinking alcohol hypnosis program has been highly successful with thousands of my patients to quit drinking fast and you may be able to get health-fund rebates.
I am a recovery specialist, researcher, supervisor and teacher to hypnotherapists working in the field of hypnotherapy to stop alcohol abuse.
You can read and watch my testimonials.
What is alcohol abuse?
You may be afraid to use the word ‘alcoholic’ or ‘out of control alcohol use’ but it is what it is.
Possibly you’re afraid to accept that description or insist it’s not you, but the truth is you’re always the last to know.
The reality is that if your alcohol consumption is out of control, you’re in trouble.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a daily drinker, can’t seem to stop drinking, fall down drunk, are a nasty drunk, a secret drinker, a binge drinker or just get legless at weddings.
Out-of-control alcohol consumption is when you’ve lost control.
Am I in denial about alcohol abuse?
When you abuse alcohol you lose touch with reality and are unable to judge the danger that you’re exposing yourself and others to.
As an alcohol abuser you’re often the last person to understand how serious your drinking problem may be and think others don’t notice but they do.
You may just have come out of hospital or a clinic and still insist you have control and you can drink a little bit.
No matter how many problems you may have, such as high blood pressure, cardiac events, cirrhosis of the liver, kidney failure, diabetes or brain fog, you insist it has nothing to do with your drinking.
Sometimes you become angry and aggressive towards people who challenge you about the delusional alternative reality you’ve created for yourself.
You’re clearly in denial.
When is it time to stop abusing alcohol?
It’s a bit like asking when should you stop poking yourself in the eye with a sharp stick.
Alcohol abuse is self-harm, no matter how you dress it up as socialising or being part of the crowd.
Sometimes you may make all sorts of excuses like, “I’ll stop after Christmas”, “But I’ve got a wedding coming up” or “I have a really good wine collection”.
You have to decide which is the most important thing in your life: Your health or another drink.
When you get the right answer, it’s time to stop.
Damage from alcohol misuse
Alcohol is technically a poison to humans that rots your brain and organs when your use is out of control.
Rutgers University in 2019 reported that binge and heavy drinking can change your DNA, making you more susceptible to a wide variety of diseases and earlier death.
Those diseases include liver and kidney failure, brain damage, cardiovascular issues, heart attack, stroke, gout, erectile dysfunction, obesity, agoraphobia, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorders, psychosis and schizoid0type behaviours.
If you’re abusing alcohol, no matter what you tell yourself, it doesn’t end well.
And some of the biggest damage you do is to your reputation.
Stop alcohol hypnotherapy treatment
I’m going to emphasis to you again that my hypnosis for alcohol treatment is designed to work fast.
Together we make your changes happen. It’s a team effort and I give you plenty of support between sessions.
It doesn’t matter how many years you’ve been drinking or how much. If you’re serious about getting control over alcohol, you can be helped – as long as you are committed to change.
You may have had various treatments before but not succeeded in stopping drinking. Perhaps you weren’t ready, not fully committed or the treatment you received didn’t demand enough from you.
I’m a straight shooter. You come into alcohol treatment with the attitude you will follow the program and homework I set for you.
No “dog ate my homework” excuses.
Sometimes my patients say, “Gee, you’re tough Tracie”.
To which I respond, “Yes and you and I together as a team are tougher than the alcohol abuse.”
My work in alcohol recovery
I’m one of Australia’s leading specialists in hypnosis, addiction and alcohol recovery.
I treat people in my Sydney clinic and all over the world via Zoom.
I have spent decades working with alcohol addiction, researched, written, published and teach therapists about drug and alcohol recovery.
My research led me to devise the 6 step Stop Drugs and Alcohol Hypnosis program that I teach to other hypnotherapists.
Hypnotherapy gets to the root of the problem and helps you change your behaviour – fast
Again, and again clients tell me that getting sober with hypnotherapy completely changed their lives for the better.
They and their families are far healthier and happier.
You see, being out of control when drinking alcohol doesn’t only affect your own health, life and prospects, it actually devastates the people around you.
You might think you’re escaping the consequences of excess drinking but that’s a delusion. When you drink excessively, everyone suffers.
Hypnotherapy can help you find out why you abuse alcohol, get control of your thoughts, actions, emotions, behaviours and overcome excess drinking by making change at a deep level in your unconscious mind.
How much does the hypnotherapy cost?
This is something that I talk about at your free consultation when you telephone me.
First of all though, I want you to think about how much the alcohol abuse has cost you.
The cost of the alcohol and I mean all the alcohol, lost work productivity, feeling like crap the next day, falling out with partners, relative friends and work colleagues.
And of course, the bill for how sick you’re making your body and medical bills. This can run into 6 figures or more.
You’ll find my fees, including packages, on the rates page. Depending on what I discover about you during the phone consultation I may put you on a package.
Now calculate how much better off you will be sober.
