When we suffer a childhood trauma – whether it’s witnessing a violent or traumatic event or experiencing it ourselves, such as abuse – it can have a lasting impact on our development and how we are as adults.
Often we don’t realise that some of the things that hold us back in our personal and professional lives, as well as our love lives, are related to a childhood trauma.
