You may not be consciously be aware of that habitual way of thinking or living but unconsciously in so many areas of your life it has become automatic and you do not even know consciously that is what you are doing.

There may be many reasons you live from a place of fear. You might have suffered disappointment, hurt, humiliation and pain at some point but have continued to see the world through those eyes long past the event. You never moved on even when at times you know it is not a healthy place to live.
You might have been someone who ran away from the world and hid in drugs and alcohol like the proverbial ostrich that buried its head in the sand rather than deal with emerging situations. And I don’t even need to ask how that turned out for you because you already may know?
You may even have had a parent or teacher who actually taught you to live from a place of fear. They might have thought they were preparing you for the disappointments of life but if that’s the only way you live then you don’t get to celebrate the good stuff.

Well its true. When you are psychologically and emotionally in a state of fear your immune and digestive systems begin to shut down which leads to infection and lower levels serotonin (the happiness hormone).
Here I am not saying don’t jump out of the way if a bus is coming towards you, be concerned when you are reckless with your money or afraid what will happen to you if eat a terrible diet; because that would just be stupid. And as Forest Gump’s mother said, ‘Stupid is as stupid does’.
On the whole however constant fear does not bring you to a place or strength and joy or endear other people to you. It can in fact be very draining for others to be around you when you are obviously driven by fear.
We are meant to continually evolve as a survival mechanism
So, from time to time, we are meant to clear our minds of the old junk, fears and negativity we have gathered and program in new resourceful adaptive ways of thinking and living. As any computer programmer will tell you, ‘Junk in – junk out’ and ‘good code – good program out.’
Living well and happy begins with living from a place of positivity, possibility and optimism. It is the bedrock of a happy and rewarding life. People get to that place at different times of their lives but if you are living from a place of fear you need to make those dramatic changes now, and do not wait, delay or make excuses. The cost of living from a place of fear is too high and the rewards of living from a place of positivity bountiful.
Living from a positive place is hugely rewarding in your body, mind, emotions and relationship. When you are living for a place of positivity aspiring to be more than you are people find you rewarding to be around. So create a great experience in your present moment and live from a place where you always aspire to be more than you ever expected.
