The power of positive thinking can change your life. To achieve this, you need to train your brain in positive thinking.
Unfortunately, most people have got into a mental rut, simply by doing the same thing year after year. They consider that the brain exists in a certain state and that nothing can be done about it – although they admit they are able to change their minds.
At school we are taught to learn things parrot fashion, often without questioning the material we are learning.
As we grow up we learn polite social rules and expectations that are met to determine our behaviour within certain circumstances.
We can often digest and absorb many negative ways of thinking, behaving, feeling and acting out. Sometimes that can even be happening outside our conscious awareness and since it has become normal to us, we do not notice it is happening until we experience extreme negative results.
We may begin to notice ourselves that we are getting frustrated, angry and dissatisfied with life. Other people may notice that we are difficult to be around and we may even get complaints about the way we speak and behave as it makes other people feel uncomfortable.
The negativity may begin to affect our relationships, family, social or work life and we get a reputation for being a whinger, grouch or complainer.
The healthy mind is one that always questions and incites enquiry, growing constantly beyond the information it has been given by others.
We have been encouraged to be model iconic citizens and conform. In our society intellectual recognition is mainly connected with commercial reward. While we may respect intellectuals and admire artists, no matter who they are, we avoid people who make us feel negative.
Retraining the positive messages we give to ourselves and the ones we accept from others is the foundation of positive thinking actualised through a hypnotic program.
This kind of psychological shift, at a deep unconscious level, can change someone’s life and help them to find a new level of thinking and achievement.
Most people believe that they believe that they are unable to believe in themselves. My job, as a hypnotherapist, is to help you to believe to believe!
In retraining the brain to think positively, it is also necessary to reassess your priorities in life.
Successful, positive thinking and acting people develop goal-directed mindsets. The successes you have in life are the ones you learn to create for yourself.
To be successful in any area – business, relationships or community action – you need to know how to build a successful mindset. You need to be able to have the tenacity to see a task through to its useful conclusion.
I help people do this with hypnosis.
I want you to think for a moment about how being more positive in life might affect yours and others people’s everyday experience.
It really is a win-win situation, isn’t it?
Yes, we all have disasters in life and down days because life throws up difficult challenges that we have to surmount.
With a positive mind set though hypnotherapy, however, you are changing the game so you are automatically on the winning team.
